“You never? You let them do that to you?”
Rebecca nodded confirmation over the top of her coffee mug, too embarrassed to actually confirm it, her blush adding emphasis.
“All three of them, bent over the pool table?”
Rebecca nodded again, and Carol noticed even though her neighbour was blushing, her eyes were sparkling.
“You brazen hussy, you actually enjoyed it as well didn’t you?”
Rebecca nodded again as she sipped her coffee in an obscene parody of a demure housewife.
They were both sitting on sun loungers on their third neighbour, Lizzie’s, deck soaking up some late morning sunshine. Lizzie had disappeared into the house a few minutes earlier to take a phone call leaving Carol alone with Rebecca as she told her about the events the previous evening in the town hall rec room.
The tiny bikini’s the two women wore emphasised their charms rather than concealed them, something they were both conscious of but had acquired the confidence to ignore. After all their hostess was similarly dressed and both of them had been dressed in less, and done more on this very deck in the not so distant past.
Their conversation was interrupted by Lizzie’s reappearance.
