Paula West has lived in various states and usually uses her locals in her books. From Michigan to California and now living in Florida, she writes and imagines. She has several books published and writes under the names of Mary Frances, and Susan Thrower. "If you can imagine it, it can be so" is one of her favorite sayings. Writing has been the most satisfying career in her life.
